Terms of Use
These terms (including the Apple section below, which makes them a licence agreement for the iOS app) are an agreement between you and [Company name] (“we”, “us”) for using Twoa. By using Twoa, you agree to them. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data.
1. Who can use Twoa
- You must be at least 18.
- Twoa is for two people in a relationship who both choose to use it. Don’t pair with someone without their knowledge or consent.
2. Your account
- You’re responsible for keeping access to your phone and sign-in secure.
- Without a sign-in, your account lives on one phone. If you lose the phone, you may lose access.
- You can delete your account at any time in Us › Account › Delete my account.
3. Your content
- You own what you write, record, and upload.
- You give us a limited permission to store, process, and show it to you and your partner, only to run Twoa.
- Don’t share content you don’t have the right to share, or content that is illegal, threatening, or harassing.
4. Twoa Coach and other AI features
- Twoa Coach and the other AI features give general, supportive ideas. They aren’t therapy, counselling, or medical, legal, or financial advice.
- AI can be wrong. Use your own judgment.
- We limit how many AI requests each couple can make, to keep the service fair and running.
If you’re in danger or thinking about harming yourself, contact local emergency services right away. See Safety for support lines.
5. Places and plans
Date spots and trip ideas come from public map data (© OpenStreetMap contributors) and AI suggestions. Opening hours, prices, and availability may be out of date, so check before you go.
6. Acceptable use
Don’t:
- misuse Twoa, or try to access another couple’s space;
- reverse-engineer, scrape or overload the service;
- use Twoa to monitor, control, threaten or harm another person.
7. Twoa+ subscriptions
Twoa is free to use. Optional paid features (Twoa+), if offered, work like this:
- The price, billing period (weekly or yearly) and any free trial are shown before you subscribe.
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID when you confirm the purchase, or when the free trial ends.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the end of the current period or trial. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
- You can manage or cancel in Settings › your name › Subscriptions. Any unused part of a free trial ends when you buy a subscription.
- One subscription covers both partners in a Couple Space.
- Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies. Full details are on the Subscriptions page.
8. Ending your use
- You can stop using Twoa or delete your account at any time.
- We may suspend accounts that break these terms or put others at risk.
9. Disclaimers and limits
- Twoa is provided “as is”. We work to keep it available and secure, but we can’t promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free.
- To the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to [the amount you paid us in the past 12 months, or USD 50 if you haven’t paid].
- Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law.
10. Apple App Store terms
If you downloaded Twoa from Apple’s App Store, these terms also apply:
- Acknowledgement. These terms are between you and us only, not Apple. We, not Apple, are solely responsible for Twoa and its content.
- Scope of licence. We grant you a non-transferable licence to use Twoa on Apple-branded products you own or control, as permitted by the Usage Rules in Apple’s Media Services Terms and Conditions.
- Maintenance and support. We are solely responsible for maintenance and support. Apple has no obligation to provide any maintenance or support for Twoa.
- Warranty. If Twoa fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price (if any). To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation for Twoa. Any other claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs or expenses from a failure to conform to a warranty are our responsibility, to the extent not disclaimed in these terms.
- Product claims. We, not Apple, are responsible for addressing any claims by you or a third party relating to Twoa, including product liability claims, claims that Twoa fails to meet any legal or regulatory requirement, and claims under consumer protection, privacy or similar laws.
- Intellectual property. If a third party claims that Twoa or your use of it infringes their intellectual property rights, we, not Apple, are solely responsible for the investigation, defence, settlement and discharge of that claim.
- Legal compliance. You confirm that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated as a “terrorist supporting” country, and that you are not on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
- Developer contact. [Company name], [address]. Questions, complaints or claims: [email protected].
- Third-party terms. You must comply with any applicable third-party terms (such as your mobile carrier’s) when using Twoa.
- Third-party beneficiary. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms, and once you accept them, Apple has the right to enforce them against you as a third-party beneficiary.
11. Changes
If we change these terms in a meaningful way, we’ll tell you in the app before they take effect.
12. Law and contact
- These terms are governed by the laws of [jurisdiction], without affecting any mandatory consumer protections where you live.
- Questions: [email protected].
